Marine Matosyan, Vice-Dean for Science and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry, and Geography at Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University, recently delivered a special lecture for students at Dimitrie Cantemir University in Romania. The lecture was based on the VAKE (Values and Knowledge Education) methodology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was structured into clear, sequential methodological phases designed to maximize student engagement. As a starting point, students were presented with a complex moral dilemma, which was then followed by phases of individual and group discussions, information gathering, and the analysis of arguments. This dilemma-based approach not only stimulated the students’ analytical and critical thinking but also enhanced their ability to form well-reasoned and balanced perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture took place in an exceptionally interactive environment. Thanks to the structured rules of the VAKE methodology, the clash of differing opinions and values was successfully transformed into a constructive, respectful, and highly productive dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
